FAQ’s For Individuals

Where are services delivered?

You can request appointments to your home, office or anywhere you need them. More bookings from your apartment building or office, for example, means it’s more likely the appointment will be accepted. You can even book group services with your friends. 

Who provides the services? 

Our service providers are local, vetted and verified professionals. If you book a service with an accredited professional, such as a registered massage therapist, dietitian or physiotherapist, their registration number and contact information will be on your receipt, so you can submit the expense to your benefits provider. 

How do services work?

You browse and request/book services at app.bookpeazy.com. When the service provider confirms the booking, they come to your requested location at the scheduled date and time. 

How does payment work?

At the time of your booking, you securely enter your payment information through Stripe, a safe and secure financial service that processes payments for millions of businesses. Peazy doesn’t hold any of your payment details directly. 

What kind of services can you book through Peazy?

Haircuts and styling; manicures, pedicures, lashes and waxing; routine car care, like an oil change or tire swap; and dry cleaning pick up and drop off; and full or focused (chair/table) massage from a registered massage therapist.

What regions is Peazy serving?

​Peazy has launched in Winnipeg, Manitoba and we plan to expand to Ontario in 2023. 

Is there a fee to book on Peazy?

The service providers set prices for their own services. You don’t pay a delivery fee or an added fee for booking on Peazy. The service provider receives their fee for services provided, as well as 100% of any tips. 

Can I book a service for a friend, child or family member? 

You can book services for yourself and book another separately for a friend, child or family member, if you’d like to cover the cost.

We are working on new features so you can add your family members and gift services too.

Is there a delivery or booking fee for using Peazy?

No, Peazy doesn’t add a booking fee or delivery fee. The final price you confirm is the price you pay, excluding any federal or provincial taxes.

 

Peazy takes a small fee before paying out the service providers. This allows us to expand our services, app and features.

Where does the tip go?

You may leave a tip at the time of booking for your service provider if you choose to. 100% of the tip will go to the service provider.

 

We are working on new features to enable tipping after the service.

Where are services delivered?

Your employees can request appointments to their home or to the office (depending on your available space).

How do group services work?

A Peazy administrator helps you set up one-time or recurring service events like in-office chair massages, group mani-pedi days, haircuts, dry cleaning pick up, on-site oil changes and more.

Who covers the cost of the services?

The business can cover the cost of the group service events or let individual staff cover their own services—you decide. For example, you may cover a special manicure day for your staff and have your staff cover their own on-site oil change or chair massage session.

What type of services can you book through Peazy?

Where are services delivered?

Your residents can request appointments to their suite/unit directly as they require or we can set up group service events in common spaces, lobbies, party rooms, gyms, lounges or other.

How do group services work?

A Peazy administrator helps you set up one-time or recurring service events like monthly chair massages, group mani-pedi days, weekly dry cleaning pick up, on-site healthy eating sessions, fitness or yoga sessions and more. These activities support your residents wellbeing and helps build community and connections.

What type of services can you book through Peazy?

Esthetician services including manicures, pedicures, lashes and waxing.  Dry cleaning pick up and drop off. Full or limited (chair) massage from register massage therapist. Dietitian services, Chef and Wine events, Fitness, yoga and meditation sessions, art sessions and more.

Who covers the cost of the services?

The residents cover the cost of their own services or attendance to a service event. If you as the building manager would like to cover a group service event, that can be arranged. You may also choose to have building contests and offer Peazy promo codes as prizes for winning tenants.

Our service providers are local, vetted professionals. They bring all the equipment they need to provide their service on-site. They are registered businesses with the necessary insurance coverage to deliver their services in an mobile fashion.

  • You’ll be supporting local service providers while enjoying the convenience of service delivery for your residents to increase building and community engagement.

  • The property enjoys a net new revenue stream by receiving a percentage of the service revenue upon discussion and planning with the Peazy team.

Why partner with Peazy?

Peazy has partnerships with office buildings and residential buildings in the city, the people in these buildings are requesting personal wellness services to be delivered to their location. Focus on providing your great service to new clients while Peazy takes care of the booking, payment and reminders plus works hard to advertise and get you more clients at one location for effeciency.

How do group services work?

Peazy works for Corporate Businesses and Residential Building Managers to arrange for group events. Some events bring employees and residents together to build community and some service events run back-to-back. For instance, an office chair massage day or a lunch and learn event.

How does Peazy make money? 

Who covers the cost of the services?

For self-serve appointments, each individual covers their service securely through a Stripe payment on the platform. You as the service provider, automatically get payment through Stripe once a service is completed. Stripe/banks may take 3-10 days for your to receive payment into your connected bank account, set up securely through Stripe. 

For group appointments, sometimes a business or property manager will cover the event and sometimes the individuals book their slots or ticket to a service event. It depends on the event. Either way, as a service provider, you will get paid for each service or each event once it is complete. Again, payment will go directly into your bank account, securely through Stripe.

There is currently no fee to join Peazy for service providers. Peazy takes a small percentage of each service completed to cover it's costs - to run the platform, manage admin, build new features, promote and advertise to Corporate and Property managers, etc. ​

How does Peazy know I am a professional service provider?

All our service providers are local, vetted professionals. We make sure you are a registered business, you have the necessary credentials and eduction for the service you provide, you have the necessary insurance coverage to serve clients at their locations and we vet and meet each provider - plus, we get to try your services!
